Wonderful New Article on Gardner in the Washington Post

Today's Washington Post gives a grand spread on Alexander Gardner - and yes, it includes the execution photos as well!   In keeping with the sesquicentennial, the National Portrait Gallery is doing a special exhibit on Gardner.   "Scheduled for 2014, it is planned as the capstone of the gallery’s commemoration of the war’s 150th anniversary, said Frank Goodyear, associate curator of photographs."   Although it's a few years away, you don't want to miss this one!!
