One of the suggested books for Summer reading for my niece who is going into the 7th grade is Chasing Lincoln's Killer by Swanson.
To me this is a good thing, getting the younger generation more educated about the Lincoln Assassination.

Phillip,
For young people, this book is a great introduction to the escape and demise of JWB. The story is also available through AudioBooks.
                                    

Megan Hardgrave has also written a great book for the younger folks, entitled Ride With the Assassin.

Yes was a great shorter verson for the younger generation to enjoy
